REAL ESTATE PHOTOGRAPHY TERMS & CONDITIONS
SCHEDULING
We require a minimum of 48 hours notice for all photography services – last minute requests will be addressed individually When scheduling an appointment please include the desired date, the listing address and any other important information about the property. After both parties have agreed on a date and time, the appointment will be considered “booked” Please use our home preparation guide to ensure the home is cleaned and staged I All properties will be shot “as is”
TRAVEL
We are happy to provide photography services for properties located outside of our normal service area. A travel fee may be charged for properties located outside of the city limits.
AT THE SHOOT
The client, homeowner, or authorized representative should be present during the shoot. If the client or representative are not available, our interpretation of the property will be deemed acceptable. We will make a reasonable effort to exclude unwanted or unsightly objects before shooting each room – this does not include things like making beds, de-cluttering or moving furniture. Your input is important when choosing which rooms will be photographed and the best angles for each one. It’s understood that without your input, we will photograph the property using our experience and judgment. Photo shoots are allotted 1.5 hours, Photo & Video shoots allotted 2.5 hours. If additional time is needed due to a non-ready state, additional time will be billed at $100/Hour. Please make sure the home is ready before we arrive.
AFTER THE SHOOT
PHOTO – After the initial shoot we will digitally process the images. This can include compositing, basic color correction, retouching and preparing master files for final delivery – advanced retouching is available for an additional cost.
VIDEO – Real estate video tours range in length from 1-3 minutes. Our goal is to capture the features of the home in the best light possible. If a second social media length video is needed, there is a $150 charge for a second edit.
DELIVERY
PHOTO – Photos will be delivered within one business day of the photo shoot. We will provide two sets of images – one optimized for MLS, and another set suitable for print. Expedited delivery is available for an additional cost.
VIDEO – Video service turn around is within 48 hours of the shoot. We offer 24 hour delivery service for video at an additional charge of $100. Our videos are unbranded for MLS. We can include a branded video for an additional charge with your supplied logo and information. 1 video revision is included in Real Estate video work within 7 days of the shoot. Additional revisions are available and billable at $100/Hour
CANCELLATION & HOME ACCESS
Please note, a cancellation fee of $50 will be charged for any shoot cancelled within 24 hours of a “booked” appointment. If the client, homeowner or representative are not available to provide access to the home during the allotted shooting time we will consider it a cancellation and the full rate will be billed. We cannot issue refunds after we have performed services. If there is inclement weather, we can reschedule for another day.
RIGHTS & USAGE
All images remain the sole property of the photographer and carry a two year limited license – they may be used for all marketing associated with the current sale of the property in accordance with local MLS rules. Any usage of the images by a third party, including but not limited to architects, builders, stagers, designers, sellers or buyers is strictly prohibited unless approved in writing by the photographer.
PAYMENT
Payment is due within 10 days of the initial photo shoot – a late fee of 2.25% will be automatically applied after 10 days, and every 10 days thereafter until the balance is paid in full. We accept cash, cheque, e-transfer, or credit card.
